On March 6th, Secretary of the Party Committee, LINGHU Caitao, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, TANG Jian, respectively gave the lecture on the First Lesson of the New Semester to teachers and students. The lecture was conducted both online and offline, with faculty, students, and representatives of parents attending and listening to the remarkable lectures delivered by the Secretary and the President.

Secretary of the Party Committee LINGHU Caitao gave a lecture on “Inheriting the Dragon Vein: Continuing a New Chapter of Chinese Culture with Cultural Confidence”. President TANG Jian introduced the recent overall achievements of the college to students from the perspective of a parent of a college student and as the university president.

After listening to the “First Lesson of the New Semester” delivered by the Secretary and the President, the students were deeply inspired. They expressed their determination to have a strong cultural confidence and to become faithful inheritors, disseminators, and practitioners of advanced Chinese culture. They pledged to cultivate a patriotic sentiment, consciously integrate love for the country, the aspiration for a strong nation, and the dedication to serving the country into their journey of learning and striving, and to continuously compose a brilliant chapter of their lives during their youth!
