On the morning of March 20th, CHEN Xiaofei, the Secretary General of Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange, along with a delegation of three members, visited GZOU(GZVTI) for research and exchanges on promoting international exchange and cooperation in vocational education. YU Liqun, the member of the university’s Party Committee and Vice President, attended the Research Symposium. The symposium was chaired by CHEN Lina, the Dean of the International College, with the participation of leaders from relevant secondary colleges of the university.

On behalf of the school, YU Liqun welcomed Secretary-General CHEN Xiaofei and his delegation, expressed gratitude to the association for its guidance and support in international exchange and cooperation projects, and introduced the current situation of international education and exchange at the university. Subsequently, Secretary-General CHEN Xiaofei introduced the basic situation of the association and the key services to promote international development in vocational education. Finally, the heads of each college introduced the basic situation of international education exchange in their respective colleges and expressed their international cooperation needs. In-depth discussions and exchanges took place between the two sides.

In the future, GZOU(GZVTI) will continue to leverage the advantages and characteristics of key majors, with a core goal of serving the high-quality development of open education and vocational education. We will coordinate efforts to excel in both “going out” and “inviting in” initiatives, including the establishment of professional standards, promoting international exchanges for faculty and students, building an international curriculum resource library, and establishing overseas learning centers. These efforts aim to further internationalize the faculty, talent development, scientific research, and management services, create a more vibrant international exchange atmosphere, and comprehensively enhance the level of internationalization in the education of the university.
