To promote vocational education reform and innovation, and to foster the high-quality development of vocational education in Guizhou Province, from May 18th to 19th, the 2024 Guizhou Vocational College Skills Competition and the National Vocational College Skills Competition Selection Competition --- Aircraft Maintenance Competition for Vocational College Students commenced with great enthusiasm and successfully concluded. It was sponsored by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education and the Guizhou Human Resources and Social Security, hosted by Guizhou Open University (Guizhou Vocational Technology Institute), and co-organized by the Guizhou Vocational Education Association, Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College, and the Guizhou Aviation Vocational Education Alliance.

The competition showcases the achievements of the college in promoting teaching reform in aviation maintenance majors in recent years, testing students' basic aircraft maintenance knowledge, standardized operational skills, and aviation maintenance professional abilities. GZOU(GZVTI) will continue deepening exchanges and cooperation with various colleges and enterprises, continuously expand the scope and scale of cooperation, achieve mutual benefit and common development, promote college-enterprise cooperation and collaborative education, and continuously improve the level of vocational and skilled talent training.
