On the afternoon of June 23rd, our university held a grand graduation ceremony for the class of 2025 in the auditorium. The ceremony was attended by the university’s Party Secretary, Linghu Caitao, the Party Secretary and President, Luo Yong, and all the leaders of the university. Deputy directors and above, teacher representatives, representatives of the logistics and security staff, and student representatives were present at the ceremony. Other graduates and their parents participated online via video. The ceremony was hosted by Vice President Yu Liqun.

The ceremony began with the national anthem. Vice President Lin Changsong read out the graduation decision, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Zhang Renjun read out the decision to honor outstanding graduates. University leaders presented graduation certificates and vocational skill certificates to student representatives and awarded prizes to outstanding graduates.


Teacher representative Wei Yao gave words of encouragement to the students, and graduate representative Yang Meiling expressed gratitude to the university. The graduates presented flowers to their teachers. The ceremony paid tribute to those who have dedicated their youth, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Luo Linglong read out the list of volunteers for the Western Plan. University leaders presented sashes and awards to the volunteers, and Secretary of the Party Committee Linghu Caitao presented the flag for their departure.


President Luo Yong delivered a speech titled “Appreciating the Three Scenic Spots of Yun Tan, and Becoming a Noble and Elegantly Mannered Person of GZVTI”, congratulating the graduates and encouraging them to be as cheerful and elegant as a stream, as proud and refined as a pine tree, and as steadfast and noble as a rock.


Before the ceremony, a theme video “The First Dream” was played, and the School of Art and Design performed a dance “Ice Flower”. Teachers and students sang “The Road Where Phoenix Flowers Bloom” together. The ceremony concluded with a chorus of “Farewell”, and all the graduates and teachers gathered for a group photo, wishing each other a bright future.
