On May 29th, the 2026 “Bridge to Guizhou” exchange program for Malaysian students and teachers concluded at Guizhou Open University (Guizhou Vocational Technology Institute). 14 teachers and students from Sultan Zainuddin University in Malaysia joined the Guizhou students for a journey that combined vocational education characteristics with cultural charm.

During the exchange, both Chinese and foreign teachers and students experienced it in an immersive way. At Taikang Home · Qian Yuan Experience Center, they listened to lectures on elderly care, practiced the Eight Trigrams Boxing on-site, and experienced intelligent aging-friendly equipment, experiencing the professional and humanistic warmth.




At the training bases, scenarios such as aviation simulation, intelligent robots, e-commerce live streaming, and ancient construction techniques were presented, showcasing the vitality of China’s vocational education’s integration of industry and education. The teachers and students visited the Huajiang Canyon Bridge, experiencing the strength of Guizhou’s “Bridge Museum” and the Chinese infrastructure prowess.





Everyone visited the Guizhou Geological Museum and the Guizhou Museum, savoring the essence of Guizhou. At Guizhou College of Electronic Science and Technology, they participated in science and innovation courses and experienced traditional handicrafts such as calligraphy, lacquer fans, and Miao embroidery and batik. The young people from both places worked together to create, achieving cultural understanding.










At the graduation ceremony, Malaysian student representative Wu Ruyin said that the five-day trip was enriching and precious. Everyone felt the advanced nature of Chinese vocational education and the charm of Chinese culture, gained knowledge, experiences, and sincere friendships, and would bring the memories of Guizhou back to Malaysia to convey the friendly sentiments.

The graduation certificates carry the harvest, and the event built a bridge of Guizhou-Malaysia culture and friendship. In the future, the young people from both places will use youth as a bond and pursue their dreams together.
