On the morning of September 1, under the guidance of the Guizhou Provincial Association for International Educational Exchange, the 2026 “Bridge to see Guizhou” exchange program for Bulgarian teachers and students was successfully launched. A delegation of 33 teachers and students from Vasil Levski High School in Bulgaria visited our university, immersing themselves in China’s achievements in vocational education and the cultural charm of Guizhou.

The group toured four schools—Aeronautics, Information Engineering, Business and Trade, Art and Design. At the School of Aeronautics, they visited an emergency rescue classroom, experienced an A320 flight simulator, and learned cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). At the School of Information Engineering, they operated robots and robotic dogs, exploring the wonders of artificial intelligence. At the School of Business and Trade, they participated in traditional indigo dyeing and live-streamed e-commerce activities. In the School of Art and Design, they explored art exhibitions, tasted sour soup, and experienced ethnic dances and leaf-blowing music.
Many students commented that Guiyang is beautiful, the campus experience was rich, and both advanced vocational technology and ethnic culture were unforgettable. Some expressed hope to study here next year.

This event combined cutting-edge vocational education technology with traditional ethnic culture, showcasing Guizhou’s distinctive vocational education and the vibrant heritage of its ethnic minorities. Through youth exchanges, it brought China and Bulgaria closer together, writing a youthful chapter in our university’s international cultural dialogue.
