To thoroughly implement the general secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on education and fully carry out the fundamental task of moral education and cultivation of people, our university has promoted the comprehensive management construction of a “one-stop” student community. On October 18, the university invited Liu Zhijun, a member of the Party Committee and vice president of Xingyi Normal University for Nationalities, to conduct a special training session in the conference room on the 9th floor of the administrative building at the Yuntan South Road campus. Relevant departments for the construction of the “one-stop” student community, party and government leaders of various secondary schools, and all counselors participated in this training, which was presided over by Luo Linglong, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the university.

Liu Zhijun elaborated in detail on the necessity and methods of construction from aspects such as policy background, experiences from universities outside the province, and the “three leaders system” building construction. He emphasized that the construction should focus on “six integrations”, including organizational leadership, party building guidance, team building, student service, cultural immersion, and conditional support, and proposed four suggestions: to enhance ideological understanding, to practice the “frontline rules”, to leverage the university’s advantages, and to adhere to problem-oriented approaches. The Party Committee of the university attaches great importance to the construction of the “one-stop” community, regarding it as an important vehicle for the soul-casting project, and plans to continue deepening inter-departmental collaboration, to solidify frontline responsibilities, to bring leadership, ideological and political education, professional strength, and management services to the frontline, to gather educational forces, to improve the level of student party building and ideological and political work, to serve talent training, and to contribute to the high-quality development of the university.
