On the morning of May 26, Mr. Raymond John Pickett, representative of New Zealand Vision College Limited, visited our university.

Mr. Pickett first toured the Aviation Industry-Education Integration Open Training Base, where he experienced the aircraft maintenance ground run-up test facility and the Airbus A320 cockpit, participating in practical teaching activities alongside students. Subsequently, he visited the Software Testing Training Center and Artificial Intelligence Lab at School of Information Engineering. He remarked that the enthusiasm and dedication displayed by both faculty and students in their professional studies and hands-on training left a profound impression on him.

Following the tour, both parties held discussions in the conference room on the second floor of the administrative building at the Yuntannan Road campus. Yu Liqun, CPC Committee Member and Vice President of the university, attended the meeting, along with deans of relevant secondary school and department heads.

Vice President Yu Liqun extended a warm welcome to Mr. Pickett and provided an overview of the university's development history, educational philosophy, academic programs, and achievements in international collaboration. Mr. Pickett expressed gratitude for the hospitality and introduced New Zealand Vision College Limited's background, distinctive programs, and strengths in international education. Both sides engaged in cordial and in-depth discussions regarding potential cooperative projects.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a solid step forward in their international educational partnership. Moving forward, both parties will adhere to the principle of "mutual benefit and win-win cooperation" to deepen collaboration in areas such as student exchanges, faculty visits, and curriculum sharing, thereby promoting the sharing and complementarity of educational resources between the two institutions.
