The “Digital and Intelligent Silk Road · E-Travel in Guizhou” - Cambodian Youth Cultural and Technological Journey has come to a successful conclusion on September 7th. The event was hosted by Guizhou Open University (Guizhou Vocational Technology Institute) and was part of the 2025 “Zhi Xing Guizhou” Silk Road Youth Exchange Program. Seventeen teachers and students from Step Forward Abroad School, Brighten School, and ESEN International School in Cambodia completed a week-long exchange. Lin Changsong, a member of the university’s Party Committee and vice president, attended the opening ceremony.

During the event, the Cambodian teachers and students visited the training bases of Guizhou Open University (Guizhou Vocational Technology Institute), Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic, and Guizhou Nursing Vocational College, participating in unique practical courses such as the assembly and disassembly of Lu Ban Locks, e-commerce live streaming, robot operation, civil aviation safety training, Chinese rope weaving, numerical control of automotive equipment, intelligent control of industrial networks, traditional Chinese medicine experience in Qiancao Fang, and social support. They experienced the innovative vitality of Chinese vocational education. They also visited the National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Experimental Zone Exhibition Center and the Guizhou Provincial Geological Museum to learn about Guizhou’s leading position in the big data field and its unique geological cultural charm.
They also toured cultural attractions such as Qingyan Ancient Town, Qianling Mountain Park, and Jiaxiu Tower, and visited Qingyun Market to taste authentic Guizhou cuisine and culture.

This event provided Cambodian youth with a valuable opportunity to perceive China’s digital technology development and diverse culture, effectively promoting friendly exchanges between Chinese and Cambodian youth and adding new impetus to educational cooperation and cultural exchange along the Belt and Road countries.
