Recently, the final of the “Dance Harmony, Aesthetic Education for ASEAN” dance competition of the 2025 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week was successfully concluded at Guiyang Preschool Education College. Our university won one first prize in the original category, one second prize and one third prize in the learning category. This “Dance Harmony, Aesthetic Education for ASEAN” dance competition, with dance as the bond, adheres to the concept that “civilizations become more colorful through exchanges and richer through mutual learning”. It is not only a competition of skills but also a dialogue of cultures. Our university’s participating teams integrated ethnic minority cultural elements into their original works, demonstrating a unique artistic perspective and creative strength; the learning category works precisely interpreted classics, highlighting solid dance skills and artistic insight, fully reflecting the teaching achievements of the dance performance major in “cultivating people through beauty and nurturing talents through art”.
