On the afternoon of January 21st, our university and Shenzhou Xinchuang (Beijing) Group Co., Ltd. held the unveiling and signing ceremony of the “Shenzhou Digital Industry College” in the 6th floor meeting room of the administrative building. University leaders including Luo Yong, the Party Secretary and President of the university, Lin Changsong and Zhou Yong, members of the Party Committee and Vice Presidents, Zhang Peng, the Deputy General Manager of Shenzhou Xinchuang Group, and Kang Nuan, the Regional Director, attended the ceremony. The heads of the School of Information Engineering and relevant departments of the university also participated.

At the meeting, the School of Information Engineering reported on the project situation of the “Shenzhou Digital Industry College”. The university and the enterprise signed the implementation agreement and unveiled the “Shenzhou Digital Industry College” and the “Shenzhou Digital KunTai (Guizhou) Information Innovation Adaptation Service Center”.

President Luo Yong emphasized in his speech that the integration of industry and education and university-enterprise cooperation are key measures to connect the education chain, talent chain, industrial chain, and innovation chain. They are the core path for the university to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents that meet the needs of the industry. The joint construction of the industry college this time is an important practice for the university to deepen the reform of the university-running model and enhance its ability to serve the regional economic and social development. He hopes that both sides will take the industry college as a carrier to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, jointly cultivate high-quality talents in the information innovation field, and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of Guizhou’s digital economy.

Both sides will take the industry college and the information innovation adaptation service center as platforms, focus on the industry demands of information security technology and computer network technology, innovate the collaborative education model, and cultivate professional talents with solid professional foundations and practical abilities, contributing more to the transformation and upgrading of local industries and the economic and social development of Guizhou Province.
