To fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talent, deepen course construction and teaching reform, and stimulate teachers’ enthusiasm for teaching innovation, on March 20th, the sixth university teacher teaching innovation competition’s university-level selection was successfully held at the Civil Aviation Industry-Education Integration Training Base.

This competition is a comprehensive review of the university’s achievements in classroom teaching reform and an important stage for teachers to showcase their teaching innovation capabilities and professional qualities. After rigorous selection through the initial rounds at each school (department), seven teachers (teams) advanced to the university-level final. The final was divided into four groups: new liberal arts, new engineering, basic courses, and ideological and political education in courses, covering multiple disciplines and providing a platform for teachers from different professional backgrounds to display and exchange.
On the competition stage, the participating teachers, based on the characteristics of their disciplines, focused on the pain points and difficulties in classroom teaching, and demonstrated the highlights and features of teaching innovation through methods such as reconstructing teaching content, innovating teaching methods, and applying information technology. The judging panel conducted a comprehensive review from dimensions such as concepts and goals, content and student conditions, and design innovation, and provided detailed and constructive feedback to each participant, guiding them in their continuous exploration of teaching reform and innovation.

The successful holding of this competition not only created a strong atmosphere of teaching innovation but also laid a solid foundation for the university to deepen teaching reform and strengthen the construction of its teaching staff. In the future, the university will continue to focus on teaching innovation, continuously promote the improvement of teaching quality, and strive to cultivate more high-quality and innovative talents.
