From November 16th to 17th, 2024, the final round of the “Vocational Cup” dance competition themed “Striving in the New Era, Building Together the Dream of Vocational Education” was held at the grand auditorium of Guizhou Open University (Guizhou Vocational Technology Institute). The competition was guided by the Education Department of Guizhou Province, hosted by the Guizhou Vocational Education Association, and organized by Guizhou Open University (Guizhou Vocational Technology Institute). A total of 27 teams from various colleges, 84 programs, and 1068 contestants stood out to perform on the final stage.

This competition emphasized not only the full display of the contestants’ dance skills but also the strengthening of the inheritance and innovation of Guizhou’s traditional culture. The contestants showcased their talents, with classical dance expressing elegance, folk dance displaying the richness of ethnic cultures, and modern dance conveying the power of striving in the new era. Every spin, arm extension, and leap was an expression of the contestants’ youthful blossoming and a reflection of the spirit of vocational education in Guizhou.

The successful hosting of the “Vocational Cup” dance competition final round, themed “Striving in the New Era, Building Together the Dream of Vocational Education”, provided a high-quality platform for the display of dance education achievements for teachers and students of vocational colleges in Guizhou Province. It effectively promoted the deep integration of vocational education with arts education. It is believed that this competition will inspire various vocational colleges to further strengthen aesthetic education, cultivating more high-quality skilled talents who are well-rounded and possess artistic literacy.
