As the strings of music herald the new year, a splendid celebration begins. On January 2, 2025, Guizhou Open University (Guizhou Vocational and Technical College) hosted a magnificent New Year gala titled "Forty-Five Years of Cultivating Excellence: A New Chapter in Building a Strong Nation through Education" in the university auditorium. Over 600 attendees, including the university’s leadership, faculty, retired staff representatives, and faculty representatives from open university branches across various cities and prefectures, gathered to celebrate this grand New Year event.

The gala was divided into four chapters: "Chasing Light: A New Year’s Dream," "Gathering Colors: Diverse Brilliance," "Forging the Soul: The Era’s Magnificent Chapter," and "Striving Forward: Advancing with Determination." The event was vibrant and spectacular, featuring a variety of performances including songs, dances, instrumental music, poetic recitations, and theatrical scenes. Faculty and staff from various departments and open university branches across the province shared the stage, showcasing the unity, determination, and spirited morale of the entire university community.

Forty-five years of cultivating excellence, a new chapter in building a strong nation through education. The journey is picturesque, and the struggle is poetic.
