Recently, the Ministry of Education released the "Notice on Announcing the List of Selected Case Studies for Industry-Education Integration and University-Enterprise Cooperation in 2024." The case submitted by our university’s School of Aviation, titled "Industry-Education Integration Empowers the Coordinated Development of 'Three Educations,' Building a High-Level Civil Aviation Talent Training Hub," was successfully selected. This achievement marks another significant milestone in our university’s exploration of high-quality industry-education integration.

The selection process involved applications from higher education institutions, recommendations by provincial (and municipal) education administrative departments, followed by qualification review and expert evaluation. A total of 133 exemplary cases of industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation were ultimately chosen.

Since 2019, guided by the goals of serving Guizhou’s aviation economy and cultivating skilled civil aviation professionals, our university has partnered with the Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group to establish the province’s first industry-education integrated school in collaboration with a leading regional civil aviation enterprise—the School of Aviation. The school relies on the framework of "one school, one alliance, one platform, two research institutes, and three bases," exploring an "eight co-creation" cooperation model with enterprises. By integrating open education and forming a community with enterprises, schools, and industry associations within the alliance, the school continues to deepen industry-education integration. This supports the coordinated innovation of vocational education, higher education, and continuing education, fully leveraging education’s role in serving society, industries, and enterprises.

This selection as a case study by the Ministry of Education for 2024 reflects the fruitful results our university has achieved in industry-education integration. Taking this opportunity, the university will further deepen industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation, promoting the continuous optimization and upgrading of the civil aviation talent training system. By leveraging the construction of the Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry-Education Integration Community, the university aims to expand the coverage and influence of talent cultivation, striving to train more high-quality technical and skilled professionals who meet industrial development needs. This will enhance social service capabilities and contribute more wisdom and strength to the prosperity and development of the local economy and society.
